Head Start/ Public Pre-K Programs

Using the Early Head Start/Public preK and Head Start/Public preK program models, ChildCareGroup provides the highest quality early childhood education services that helps to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond supporting the cognitive, emotional, language, physical and social development of young children. These programs are free of charge for qualified families.

All children and parents enrolled in these programs receive:

  • Low teacher-student ratios
  • Nationally accredited programs and facilities
  • Individualized Education for each child
  • CLASS certified classrooms
  • Comprehensive educational and developmental assessments
  • Annual height, weight, vision, dental and hearing screenings
  • As needed, therapeutic early intervention services are provided on site at our centers
  • A nutritious and balanced hot breakfast, lunch and snack daily
  • Stimulating physical activity on age-appropriate nationally accredited playgrounds
  • A daily nap
  • Parent volunteer opportunities
  • Two Generation supports and resources
Basic Eligibility Requirements We follow Early Head Start/Public preK and Head Start/Public preK guidelines to determine eligibility. Families qualify by meeting one of the following:

  • Meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines
  • Homelessness (Homelessness can be defined in many ways. Click here to learn more) 
  • Raising a foster child
  • Child with a disability
  • Family receiving TANF, SSI, SNAP

$15,060 for a family of 1
$20,440 for a family of 2
$25,820 for a family of 3
$31,200 for a family of 4
$36,580 for a family of 5
$41,960 for a family of 6
$47,340 for a family of 7
$52,720 for a family of 8

For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $5,380 for each additional person.

$17,310 for a family of 1
$23,500 for a family of 2
$29,690 for a family of 3

$42,070 for a family of 5
$48,260 for a family of 6

For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $6,190 for each additional person.

1.    Public Assistance – SNAP, TANF (child only payments), SSI
2.    Homelessness
3.    Foster Care/Kinship Care
