- A lecture series created to help make a difference in the lives of children by providing parents, caregivers, and the community information.
- Friends of ChildCareGroup's most recent lecture was
"Cut Yourself Some Slack (and Still Raise reat Kids)," by Ann Dunnewold, Ph.D. The next event will be in September 2008. For more information about the Lecture Series and upcoming events, click here.
- The lectures are usually from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. and include lunch; or if in the evening, around 6:00 p.m. with light hors d'oeuvres served.
- ChildCareGroup Tea
- The Tea is an annual children's event presented by ChildCareGroup Friends in the Fall and features either a children's author who reads his or her books, and conducts book signings; or, a favorite children's character who mingles with the guests and has their picture taken with the children.
- Perfect for young children and their grandmothers, mothers, and special friends, the event includes arts and crafts, photographers, musicians, face painters, and, of course, tea treats. For more information about our most recent event, click here.
