Born Learning

ChildCareGroup’s Born Learning Parent Engagement Program is a nationally accredited, comprehensive home visiting program for families living in the following counties:

• Dallas County
• Kaufman County
• Navarro County

Utilizing the rigorous, evidence-based Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum model, Born Learning serves more than 500 children (ages 0-5) and parents each year. We teach parents to be their child’s first and lifelong teacher and to understand the individual developmental needs of their children.
At weekly or bi-weekly home visits parents can expect:

• Parent Educators to model positive parenting skills
• Comprehensive educational and developmental assessments
• Setting milestones and activities to encourage growth
• Monthly Group Connection events at museums, park, the zoo, and other educational locations
• Educational resources
• Family socialization to build social capital
• Networking opportunities
